Troubleshooting Steps

1) Turn off miner load following site preferences

2) Leave fans running for at least 10 minutes to fully cool down miners

3) Using HMI controller, turn power to fans off

4) Follow document "Power Down an Aibox Container" and power down the container

5) Power Supply & Wiring Check (PERFORM WITH POWER OFF)

Cable Inspection

Check cables from breaker to junction box and junction box to fan motor junction box for any visible damage. Crushed, cut, etc.

Check Terminal Connections

VFD output terminals

Visual inspection: Look for charring or loose connections through pull test

Fan Breaker Bus Connector (Located below VFD)

Visual inspection: Look for charring or loose connections through pull test

Branch junction box terminals (Located in hot aisle between exhaust fans. Each junction box contains connections for 4 fans)

Visual inspection: Look for charring or loose connections through pull test

Fan junction box terminals (Located on the front, outside facing side, of the motor)

Visual inspection: Look for charring or loose connections through pull test

Check to ensure jumpers are installed correctly

Review wiring diagram on inside of junction box plate for correct wiring and correct jumper locations

6) If the above steps are found to be unsuccessful, perform a Functional Swap Test (Recommended)

Disconnect power/line from the faulty fan in question at the junction box and connect to the power from the faulty fan in question to a known working fan

Follow How to Power Up an Airbox Container and power up the container. Keep all PDUs off as well as all fans EXCEPT the fan in question.

Fan starts working → Power side likely OK, issue lies in wiring between fan breaker and fan motor

Fan still not working or breaker/VFD trips → Problem likely with fan. Reach out to Customer Support by completing a ticket here: https://customers.gigaenergy.com/support
