 Mini-PC Setup and Replacement

The Mini-PC will need a replacement if it is no longer powering on, runs really slow, or is generally unresponsive to any user input. Please follow the guide to receive a replacement.

Before Submitting a ticket

Confirm that the Mini-PC is receiving power from the outlet, check the cable for any fraying, then check the outlet using a multimeter. If the outlet has 110V reading, proceed to the following steps, otherwise go to the guide for unpowered outlets (WIP).

1: Submit a ticket

Submit a ticket to Customer Support stating that you need a replacement Mini-PC. Provide details such as how the Mini-PC is functioning, the containers Serial Number, and site location for shipping purposes.

From here, Customer Support will order a replacement and flash it with the relevant software for installation.

2: Preparing the container for installation

While the container does not have a functional mini-PC, you can still manually keep the container running using the VFD. Follow the guide here to learn more about how to operate the fans in LOC mode.

3: Setting up the mini-PC

Once you have received the mini-PC, install it in the container exactly like the old one was setup. Be sure to slot the PLC ethernet cable into the ethernet port labeled ETH1.

From here ensure that it has internet access, and let customer support know so that they can remote in and confirm that the software is functional and everything is operating correctly!
